WHITINGHAM- The Twin Valley varsity softball team had a rough week, continuing a murderer’s row of teams from Rutland County and dropping two games by a combined run total of 67 to 1.
On Thursday, May 12, the powerful West Rutland Golden Horde invaded the diamond on the hill. It was the second game of a back-to-back week, as the Wildcats and Horde played two days earlier.
The Horde upped their scoring output from Tuesday, dropping 40 runs on the Wildcats in a four-inning mercy-rule shortened game.
