Twin Valley has holes to fill but coach optimistic for solid season

WHITINGHAM- The Twin Valley boys’ varsity soccer team brings back a veteran squad that fell just short of an undefeated season in 2023.  The Wildcats’ quest for perfection stopped a goal short when they lost 1-0 to Winooski in the Division 4 championship match last November.
“I’m cautiously optimistic we can put together a solid season,” said Twin Valley head coach Buddy Hayford on Tuesday. “We’ve got a good group of boys, but we’re a little light on experience. We lost basically half the starting team.  It’s time for guys to step up and take more of a leadership role.”
