Twin Valley earns a big road win

SPRINGFIELD- Despite playing only one match in the past two weeks, the Twin Valley boys’ varsity showed little rust in  their 2-1 win at Springfield Tuesday evening. The win on the road was a big one, as the Wildcats grounded a solid Cosmo squad.
Alex Sullivan put the Wildcats up five minutes into the match.  Sophomore midfielder Brayden Brown hit a corner kick to Niko Gerding at the near post. Gerding flicked the ball on to the far post, where Sullivan was able to push it past Cosmo keeper Nick Wiese.
