Twin Valley drops close games

NORTH CLARENDON- Wins haven’t come easy for the Twin Valley varsity softball team this spring. But that doesn’t mean the girls aren’t competitive. On Friday, May 23, they gave host Mill River a run for their money in a game the Minutemen eventually won, 25-19. The Wildcats found themselves trailing 18-3 heading into the top of the fifth inning. But instead of folding, Twin Valley put on their rally caps and put themselves back in the game. They scored eight runs in the top of the fifth, five runs in the top of the sixth, and three in the top of the seventh.
