Twin Valley comeback falls short, ‘Cats overcome Rebels’ rally

WILMINGTON- The Twin Valley boys’ varsity had its second match of the season, hosting Green Mountain at Hayford Field.   The visitors built a big lead and then had to hold off a late-match rally from the Wildcats. But in the end, Green Mountain headed home with a 4-3 win.
“Green Mountain is a good team,” said Twin Valley coach Buddy Hayford. “I knew they were going to  be. They were very solid, with seven seniors and a handful of juniors.”
