Track season crosses finish line
MANCHESTER- There were picture-perfect conditions for the Vermont Division 4 track and field state championships Friday afternoon. A number of area athletes qualified for the meet including five from Twin Valley Middle High School.
“The weather was pretty much perfect, with sunny skies,” said Twin Valley coach Buddy Hayford. “Plus it’s a great facility there, too. Over the years they’ve really raised the standards.”
Sophomore Lucky Lucchesi led the way for Twin Valley. He competed in the maximum four events.
