Fast start propels Phantoms to win
WHITINGHAM- The Twin Valley varsity softball team had a rough outing Friday, May 2, at their home field, as they dropped a 26-4 decision to the visiting Proctor Phantoms.
The Phantoms wasted little time, scoring two runs in the first inning, five in the second, and four in the third. The Wildcats threatened in the bottom of the first and again in the second, but couldn’t push any runs across the plate.
