Eagles drop a goose egg on Wildcats, teams heading toward end of season

ARLINGTON- When the Twin Valley and Arlington baseball teams squared off earlier this month, the visiting Eagles ended up with a nail-biting 4-3 win over the host Wildcats at Baker Field in  Wilmington. It was one of the best games of the season for the young Wildcats squad, even in a losing effort.
On Tuesday, Twin Valley headed west and up Route 7 to visit Arlington.  The game was a rough one for the Wildcats, as the host Eagles blanked the visitors 9-0.
“Our boys were not on form at all,” said Twin Valley coach Greg Nido.
