College student finds unusual job, becomes part of Huskies’ mascot team
DOVER- Not many job interviews require a candidate to put on an over-sized costume head with a narrow slit to see through and parade around a conference room trying to dodge chairs and tables.
But that’s exactly what local student Wyatt Shippee had to do to earn a shot at his college work-study job. He was able to navigate that sea of chairs, and for all of his collegiate years Shippee has been a mascot for the Northeastern University Huskies athletic program.
