Boys also shut out MSJ, head to finals

ARLINGTON- The Twin Valley boys’ varsity team is headed back to a very familiar place: the championship game of the annual John Werner Soccer Tournament.
The Wildcats earned another trip to the finals by beating Mount Saint Joseph Academy 2-0 in Monday’s semifinal round.  Twin Valley will be seeking its third straight title and 10th in the 16 years the tournament has been held.
While the final score was relatively close, it doesn’t really reflect how the Wildcats played on the field.
“We thoroughly dominated the game,” said Twin Valley coach Buddy Hayford.
