Bears end Wildcats’ playoff dreams
WILMINGTON- The Twin Valley baseball team has made some strides this season. Following a winless 2023 season, which was the Wildcats’ return to the diamond after five years of no team, the Wildcats finished this year with two wins.
On Tuesday, June 4, they added a home playoff game to the mix as well. It was a repeat of the 2023 first round, as the Wildcats hosted the Stratton Mountain School Bears. In what turned out to be an entertaining, back-and-forth game, the Bears staged a late rally to hold off the Wildcats 16-6.
