Basketball camps for youth grades pre-K through 9

DEERFIELD VALLEY - The 26th annual Deerfield Valley Basketball Camp for boys and girls entering grades 5 through 9 will be held from Monday, June 27, to Friday, July 1, from 1 to 4 pm at Twin Valley Middle High School. The camp director is Buddy Hayford.
The daily schedule includes the teaching of skills in a variety of situations. The camp utilizes stations, contests, league play, one-on-one and three-on-three competitions, as well as the NOAH shooting program. All campers receive a custom designed T-shirt and basketball. In addition, campers at TVMHS will have the opportunity to use the newly-acquired Dr. Dish for intensive shooting practice. For information call (802) 464-1295.
The fifth annual Wildcat Cub Basketball Camp will be held at the Old School in Wilmington from Monday, June 27, to Friday, July 1. Boys and girls entering pre-school to grade 1 will play from 8:30 to 9:30 am while those entering grades 2 to 4 will play from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. These sessions are an introduction to the basic skills necessary to advance as a prospective player.
