Wildlife art contest deadline nears

VERMONT- The deadline to apply for the second annual Vermont Student Wildlife Art Contest is March 17. There is a $1,000 first-place prize and nine other cash awards that go directly to the winning artists.  Open to students in grades seven to 12 for flat (two-dimensional) art in any medium and depicting any species of Vermont wildlife.
An exhibition of the top 40 will be held in late April at the Highland Center for the Arts in Greensboro.
