Critical condition after hit-and-run crash
WARDSBORO- Police are seeking information in a hit-and-run crash that left a Wardsboro woman hospitalized in critical condition. Police received a report of a semi-conscious pedestrian lying in the roadway on Stratton Arlington Road at about 8:10 pm on Saturday, October 17. Police identified the victim as Deborah Ayers, 65, of West Wardsboro. Ayers was airlifted by DHART helicopter to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH, with life-threatening injuries.
