The Whitingham Selectboard with the Parks Committee would like to address concerns about a recent event at Town Hill Commons.
The park has been and continues to be open to the public with free access, no permit required.  Large events are on a first come, first served basis, but no event ever should take full control of the park.  The boards were dismayed that the recent event holders prevented others from using the park or even parking in the area.  They did not have any sort of permission or authority to block the public road.
