John M. Roberts Jr.

BETHEL- John M. Roberts Jr., 57, died Friday, June 12, at Gifford Medical Center after his battle with lung cancer.
Mr. Roberts was born May 8, 1963 in West Lebanon, NH, the son of John Roberts Sr. and Alzada Murdock. He was raised in Readsboro. He had lived in the White River Valley his entire life, settling in Bethel. 
He was married January 1, 1991, to Althea Stark. Mr. Roberts had worked for Neagley and Chase Construction for 15 years and previously with Miller Construction. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and guitars.
He is survived by his wife Althea; sons Alex, of Texas, John III, of Indiana, and Jeremeah, of Burlington; mother Alzada Sawyer, of Whitingham; brother Keith, of Brookfield; sister Rebecca Goodson; nephew Elijah Goodson; and niece Naomi, of South Carolina. He was predeceased by his father, John Roberts Sr., and brother, Steve Roberts.
There will be no services. The family will have a private gathering at Day Funeral Home. Contributions may be made in his memory to the Norris Cotton Center, Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon, NH. Arrangements are by Day Funeral Home in Randolph.
