Esther Allard Carmody

CAMP VERDE, AZ- Esther Allard Carmody, 84, of Camp Verde, formerly of Jacksonville, VT, died of natural cause, on August 4 with her loving husband by her side.  
She was the daughter of Clyde Allard and Marion Haynes Allard. She was born in Jacksonville, VT and lived on the family farm.  She worked at Hartwin Motors in Greenfield, MA where she met her loving husband Harold Carmody who survives.  After leaving Vermont they made their way to Camp Verde, where they made a living as caregivers and home maintenance providers.  
Mrs. Carmody was an avid vegetable gardener and raised many varieties of beautiful roses.  She was very active in her church and was always helping her neighbors and the local food banks.  
She is survived by sons Douglas Moore (Carol), of Readsboro, VT, Fred Moore (Maureen), of New Haven, CT, Gordon Moore (Pam), of Jacksonville, VT; daughters Linda Bolt, of East Dummerston, VT, and Brenda Washburn (Greg) of Rockingham, VT; as well as a sister Lucille Finneault, of Maynard, MA.  She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her sons Gregory Moore and  Jeffrey Moore, and daughter Pamela Moore, as well as sisters Emily Nelson and Ruth Bartosewcz. 
There will be no services at this time.  Memorial contributions can be made to St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church, 781 Cliffs Parkway, Camp Verde, AZ 86322.
