WHITINGHAM - The Whitingham Selectboard discussed Town Meeting options at their regular meeting Wednesday, December 29. The discussion came in the midst of record-breaking cases of COVID-19 due to outbreaks of the Omicron variant.
It was also sparked by the beginning of the 2022 Vermont legislative session, which started Monday and will be held remotely until Tuesday, January 18. The Legislature will consider a bill that will allow towns to delay or conduct their annual meetings by Australian ballot, similar to a bill passed last year.
