Unexpected landing at local winery

HALIFAX- Honora Winery, located on Collins Road, welcomed an unexpected and unusual guest early this week.  Unusual for Halifax, anyway.
According to Harry, the owner of the Honora property, a pilot flying a six-seater, single-engine Cessna 185 “Skywagon” to New York with his wife and two children on board made a forced landing on the grounds of the winery Sunday afternoon.  “He landed OK,” said Harry.  “The two kids were panicky, but I got them up to the house and got them some water and they calmed down.”
