SEARSBURG- School choice was top of mind with voters in Searsburg at their Town Meeting Monday evening, as concerns were raised about possible changes percolating in Montpelier during the current legislative session. The voters made short work of the agenda items, approving all articles and cruising through the school and town combined meetings in less than an hour.
During the annual school district meeting, voters and school board members voiced concerns that any of the bills being studied at the Statehouse could disrupt Searsburg’s current school choice options.
