WILMINGTON- A change in Windham Southwest Supervisory Union funding practices may mean local school districts will have to seek loans in anticipation of taxes.
WSSU Business Manager Karen Atwood told Twin Valley School Board members at their Tuesday meeting that there would be a significant change in the timing of the assessments the supervisory union charges districts for services. Additionally, she requested a $1 million partial payment from Twin Valley a little more than a month earlier than anticipated.
