Rep. Gannon to step down from state Legislature
Rep. John Gannon, also member of the Wilmington Selectboard, will not seek a return to Montpelier next year.
WILMINGTON- Rep. John Gannon announced that he will not be running for reelection to the Vermont House of Representatives during Tuesday night’s Wilmington Selectboard meeting.
“I informed the Speaker of the House last night that I will not be seeking reelection due to personal reasons,” said Gannon. “I’m not going to run again, but I’ve done a lot of things in the six years I’ve been in and I’m proud of them.”
