Panel highlights career preparedness programming

BDCC’s Pipelines and Pathways Program hosted its first Fearless Futures Summit on May 2. Twin Valley’s high school and middle school students took part, along with students from Leland & Gray High School. The event was designed to connect Windham County’s students with opportunity and some of the limitless, often nontraditional pathways to postsecondary success. More than 50 presenters offered interactive stations to showcase the opportunities at their organization and pathways to success. Photo courtesy BDCC

WILMINGTON - A panel at the Southern Vermont Economy Summit, held on Tuesday at The Hermitage Club, was centered on how to retain youth in the region. Much of the panel focused on career preparedness work that is being done by the Brattleboro Development Credit Corporation, the Windham Regional Career Center, and local schools, including Leland & Gray.
