New chief sworn in, board warned about changes in tax appraisals

DOVER- Almost exactly 10 years after Randy Johnson was sworn in as police chief, he was standing before the Dover Selectboard again – this time, to swear in his replacement.  
Following a vote by the selectboard officially appointing (now former) Sgt. Mike Arbogast as Dover’s new chief of police, Johnson administered the oath of office to his former number two, wished him well, shook his hand, and handed him the chief’s gold badge.
