WILMINGTON- Board members discussed the surprise loss of $200,000 in revenue, and big changes in the typical school day next year in response to COVID-19 at their regular meeting Tuesday evening. At the Wilmington selectboard’s regular meeting last week, board members voted not to pay the budgeted 2020 school user fee of $200,000, citing their own COVID-19-related budget and revenue concerns. The selectboard had previously discussed the possibility, and earlier in the year decided to eliminate the user fee from their 2021 budget.
