Biodiversity grant helps conserve land in Halifax, Guilford

HALIFAX - Nearly 900 acres of contiguous land in Halifax and Guilford will be conserved thanks to the efforts of the Vermont River Conservancy and a grant from the Nature Conservancy’s Vermont Biodiversity Protection Fund.
The Vermont Biodiversity Protection Fund was established by the Nature Conservancy in January. Its purpose is to assist organizations in Vermont working to protect lands, the protection of which will support Vermont’s biodiversity.
