VERMONT - A webinar about the role the arts play in the economy was held on Thursday, November 9. It featured statistics about the impact arts have on the economy and examples of ways towns are pursuing the arts as part of their economic development plan. Locally, Wilmington Economic Development Consultant Gretchen Havreluk says the arts have become more of a focus for economic development pursuits in recent years, and the arts and culture are an active focus in her work.
