Community film screening focuses on local artists, themes
WILMINGTON - Local filmmaker Garret Harkawik has organized a film screening at the historic Memorial Hall on Saturday, September 28, at 8 pm. The free event will feature short documentary works by several local filmmakers and music by Brattleboro musician Johnny Gifford.
After finishing a short film called “Index Drift 1 (Through a Deep Culture)” Harkawik became interested in nontraditional places that could screen his work. He chose Memorial Hall for its central location. “It’s a lovely little spot,” said Harkawik.
