Masks mandatory in Vermont starting August 1
MONTPELIER - At a press conference on Friday, Gov. Scott announced he has signed an order mandating face coverings in all public spaces beginning August 1. The mandate will apply to indoor and outdoor spaces where 6-foot distancing is not possible and applies to all people 2 years old and older, with exceptions made for medical necessity and during eating, drinking, and strenuous activity.
