Mutts gone nuts!

RANDOLPH - Mutts Gone Nuts is a one-hour comedy show featuring nine canine acrobats and their hapless humans, streaming live on Saturday, May 14, at 7 pm on the Chandler Center for the Arts website. Be amazed as these dogs jump, dance, and flip right into the audience’s hearts. Laugh out loud at their hilarious hijinks. Be astonished with their high flying stunts.
Since 1985 comedy duo Scott and Joan Houghton have brought their unique blend of physical comedy and circus arts to audiences from Las Vegas to Tokyo. They have spent three years with country star Lee Greenwood at his theater in Tennessee and seven years as the featured comedy act at Dolly Parton’s Theaters in Branson, Orlando, and Myrtle Beach.
In 2005 the duo turned their attention to creating a comedy dog act. All of the dogs are adopted from rescue programs or  animal shelters. The “mutts” have gone from shelter to showbiz, living the cushy lives of stardom. It doesn’t come easy though. Through positive reinforcement with treats and toys, these four-legged performers have spent countless hours honing their skills. Their hard work has paid off, impressing everyone across the country, even wowing the hosts of The View and First Lady Barbara Bush.
Tickets start at $10 and are on sale now at https://www.chandler-arts.org/cca-events/mutts-gone-nuts. For more information visit the website or call (802) 728-9878.
