BRATTLEBORO - The New England Center for Circus Arts will present their streaming on demand holiday show “The Flying Coconut” online from Saturday, December 24, to Sunday, January 1.
Inspired by “The Nutcracker,” this year’s show, “The Flying Coconut: On Demand,” veers off course when the opening party is crashed by pirates and an unforgettable evening of high-flying feats, acrobatics, and circus mayhem ensues. Featuring NECCA’s adult and youth student performers, this year’s theme takes on a nautical twist, complete with mermaids, starfish, and parrots. Legendary acrobatic clown Joel Baker joins the cast as a special professional guest artist, creating mischief and laughter. The in-person performances sold out to enthusiastic audience members so now is the chance to see the recording of this epic production online.
All ticket sales benefit NECCA’s nonprofit programming, including financial aid for students in need. Tickets range from $15 to $50. Buy tickets at www.circusschool.org. For more information call (802) 254-9780.
