Peace Poster Contest offers $5,000 prize

DEERFIELD VALLEY - The Deerfield Valley Lions Club is once again sponsoring the International Peace Poster Contest for 11-to-13 year old students in local schools. The theme this year is “We Are All Connected.”  The posters will be evaluated on originality, artistic merit, and expression of the theme. Grand prize winners will receive $5,000. The Dover Elementary and Twin Valley Middle schools have been recognized and awarded on a local level in the past.
