Art workshop teaching ink making from plants

SHAFTSBURY - Join artist Emily Tareila at the Robert Frost Stone House Museum to make natural, water-based inks from plants to create local, seasonal color. On Saturday, August 28, from 1 to 4 pm, participants will learn some histories of natural color, think about their own relationship to color, and prep, cook, and process four different inks. Cost is $100 per person, which includes a $15 materials fee. Contact frosthouse@bennington.edu to sign up or to ask any questions
Also at the museum will be a poetry reading with Rage Hezekiah, Thursday, September 9, from 6 to 7 pm. This event is free and open to the public.
