DEERFIELD VALLEY- Enjoy a beautiful afternoon on Saturday, July 16, visiting a variety of barns in the Deerfield Valley, both historic and new, as well as one with an incredible view. There will be a variety of animals, some classic cars, a large vegetable garden where you can learn about growing your own produce, many local artists will be showing their works, and live musicians will be entertaining too.
Many artists will be donating a percentage of their sales to the Rotary Club that day to help benefit the local community. There is also an “Art Raffle” to benefit the Rotary Club.
Visit all or some of the barns in any order. Snow Republic Brewing Company will be offering a free beer to ticket holders that day, too.
Barns will include beautiful new ones, large and small, that will appeal to anyone who wants to build one someday, older ones where visitors can learn about the history of barns, and one that includes an opportunity to learn about growing fruits and vegetables sustainably. And finally, one barn that was built to be an art gallery.
Live musicians will include: Logan Boyd, Bongo Billy, Paul Fisher, Tom Carroll, Trumpet Andy, Bas Duo, and a Juno Orchestra quartet. Artists displaying their work  include Gail Anderson, Joan Lovell, Kate Follett, Nancy Powers Libby, Ellie Roden, Debra Dunphy, Leslie Brunn, Ann Coleman, Jen Violette, Terry Hauptman, Jeanne Joudry, Hugh Joudry, Sharon Klass, Nicki Steel, Karen Horton, Kevin Ohare, Bobbi Angell, and Jane May Jones.
Art raffle tickets are available for only $5 each, or five for $20. Pictures of the items are being updated daily online.  Tour and raffle tickets are available by credit card on Eventbrite: https://bit.ly/3xwW67s and by cash or check at the Southern Vermont Deerfield Valley Chamber of Commerce, 21 Main Street, Wilmington.
Tickets are limited, the event will be held rain or shine from 12 to 4 pm. Questions can be directed to Bonni Pesner Pactor at bpactor@connectmecapital.com.
