DOVER - On Friday, June 10, the Rotary Club of the Deerfield Valley presented a match grant to the Dover School in support of a project by the sixth grade class for $1,500. The students, under the guidance of their teacher Tracey Gamache, created a fundraising program called “Deerfield Valley Dash” and raised $3,000 to benefit the future students in their school. The Rotary worked with both the teacher and students to discuss the positive effects of philanthropy in the community.
