Teddy bear teas
Cookie and his friend are looking forward to the teas.
WINDHAM COUNTY- Open house events, called Teddy Bear Teas, will be happening at many area elementary schools this spring. The Teddy Bear Teas are for families with children ages 0 to 5. The purpose of the teas is for children and their families to get connected with their community school, other families, and resources.
Teddy Bear Teas are a collaboration between local schools, Early Education Services, and the regional Parent Child Center. Teddy Bear cookies are donated by Brattleboro Union High School cookie bakers, and Mary Meyer donates funds for supplies.
Local schools include: Dover, Friday, April 28, at 10:30 am; Halifax, Monday, May 15, at 9 am; Jamaica, Tuesday, May 2, at 9 am; Marlboro, Tuesday, May 9, at 8:45 am; Newbrook, Thursday, May 11, at 1:30 pm; Twin Valley Elementary, Wednesday, May 10, at 2 pm; and Wardsboro, Thursday, May 11, at 11 am.
