GUILFORD- The next Balkan Cafe, featuring the Harris Brothers Balkan Band, will be held on Sunday, March 1, at the Broad Brook Community Center.
From 3 to 3:45 pm is a beginner workshop with recorded music; from 4 to 6:30 pm is a dance party with live music from the Harris Brothers Balkan Band. They play traditional and contemporary Balkan folk and Roma music. Their big sound and mobile style leave audiences surprised and delighted.
All levels welcome. Come to dance or just listen. Suggested donation is $12.
