HALIFAX - On Saturday, May 24, the Halifax Community Club will host the fifth annual Edie Fenton memorial plant and seed swap, rain or shine, from 9 am to 1 pm, at the Halifax Community Hall, 20 Brook Road.  This event honors the memory of Edie Fenton, who died in early 2020, just before the first spring bulbs emerged. Fenton was generous in sharing her plants, and the club is continuing the tradition. Bring plants or seeds to share, and take some home. When potting plants for the swap, please wash the roots to remove all eggs of the invasive jumping worm.
