Tax credits will help downtown historic building restoration

This historic building in the center of Wilmington is undergoing renovation by current owner Travis Wendell. It formerly housed the Wilmington Home Center and, befoe that, the O.O Ware store. Lauren Harkawik

Wendel is the owner of Pioneer Timber Frames, a construction company that specializes in timber frames. He says the company has been busier than ever in recent months, due to an increase in renovations spurred by the pandemic.
