Golf school loses its original home, founder looks to move on

DOVER- The Original Golf School won’t be returning to the place where it got its start 42 years ago. According to Jay Morelli, who has been the face of the school for its entire existence, Vail Corporation told him late last month the company would not be renewing the golf school’s contract to use the Mount Snow Golf Club.
“I kind of felt it was coming,” said Morelli in a recent interview. “Golf is just an outlier for these guys. Simply put, the golf school just doesn’t fit. It’s not part of their corporate plan.”
