Coffee company sees $80,000 grant as an investment in town

WILMINGTON - 1A Coffee Roasters, the coffee shop and roasting operation, has been named one of the winners of Oatly’s Big Idea Grants. The grant, which will total over $80,000, will be used to finance sustainability initiatives at the shop. 1A co-owner Brian Holt, who owns 1A with his wife Chrystal Holt, says he sees the grant as an investment in Wilmington and in establishing Wilmington as a hub of sustainable practices.
