To the Editor:

Donna, the blood person at the Deerfield Valley Health Center, always had a warm and friendly greeting as she accompanied you to her office from the waiting room. And as the true professional she was, she shared her paper work with you to make sure you understood the reason for the blood taking.

As one who was always really afraid of “the hook,” as it was called in the Army in the 1940s, she was a magician with her needle, it was quick and easy and I hardly felt it.
