I am writing this letter in response to your lack of coverage of the shutdown and subsequent evacuation of each of the summit chairs on January 30. Once I heard of the breakdown and was able to get a little information of the breakdown, I assumed that such a significant event would be received by an article in your newspaper.
If this type of unfortunate occurrence does not warrant an article or mention in any matter in your paper, what type of local news would?
At this point in time, a few weeks after the mishap, there is still time enough to write an in-depth article of the breakdown and events surrounding the breakdown.
To leave your reading public with no information about the chair breakdown would seem at minimum reticent on your part.
Thank you for this opportunity to express my view and I hope that this will lead to such an article.
