BRATTLEBORO- In a normal year spring shows up about the second week of May. At the Vermont Center for Photography it will arrive at 5:30 pm on March 5, with the opening reception for a members show, “Primavera, VCP Members Photograph Spring.”

Though spring technically arrives at the equinox, it easily could be snowing that day. The photographers of the VCP illustrate the myriad of ways spring happens for them. Photographers presenting their take on the season include: Ed Bissell, Annie Tiberio Cameron, Robert Cantius, William Dixon, Suzanne Flynt, Kirsten Hoving, Al Karevy, Jennifer Karpin-Hobbs, Paul Katz, Janet McClish, Paul Miller, John Nopper, Richard Ritter, and Jim Schlessinger.

The opening reception is on Friday, March 5, from 5:30 to 8:30 pm, during Brattleboro Gallery Walk. The public is welcome. The exhibit will end on Sunday, March 28.

The Vermont Center for Photography was founded in 1998. The gallery represents photographers from Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and New York, promoting a regional community of photographers. The gallery is located at 49 Flat Street next to the parking garage.
