In other action, the J3s (ages 13 and 14) competed in a pair of Super G races at Stratton Mountain on Friday, February 5. Alva Swing, of Brookline, took a third and a fourth, while on the women’s side Sarah Reilly, of Stony Creek, CT, placed 13th and 14th. The high points of the weekend for the riders were achieved by Noelle Edwards, of Stamford, CT, who put together back-to-back victories in the Southern Vermont Region boardercross competitions at Bromley on Saturday and Sunday, February 6 and 7. Edwards competes at the Breaker Girls level, which includes 12- and 13-year-olds.
