To the Editor,

You may have noticed something going on at the Blue Brook Triangle in Dover recently. It is the future home of a Garden of Hope, organized by the Deerfield Valley Rotary. This is one of several gardens that we are planting in the Deerfield Valley to celebrate cancer survivors - the flowers will be primarily pink and yellow.

I would like to thank those who have contributed so much already. Thank you to “Coop” Bills for the donation of soil, to Rich Werner & Co. for the heavy equipment and prepping the garden, and WW Building Supply for donating stones. A big thanks to all the friends of Rotary who have helped weed, shovel, and plant bulbs.

Another garden is being planted at the Deerfield Valley Health Center and one in Whitingham center. The perennials will be planted in May so look for blooms all summer long!
