To the Editor:

PhiL Bartlett of Dover is running for the Vermont House of Representatives in the Windham - Bennington -1 district, which includes the towns of Dover, Readsboro, Searsburg, Somerset,Stamford, and Wardsboro.

As you may remember Phil lost the last race by just 11 votes in the 2006 election. Phil is running again because he knows we must get control of the ever-increasing property taxes and health care costs.

Phil understands the problem with the way Vermomt funds the schools. A perfect example is the Town of Dover.Last year, Dover taxpayers raised school taxes in the amount of $11,435,559, of which Dover kept $1,962,912, for our school, and sent $10,472,647, to the State of Vermont.

We need Phil in Montpelier. We need change! Vote for Phil.
