Sparkling with energy, wit, and whimsy, the Stand-Up Chameleon magically transforms into a wide array of colorful characters. Interactive song, movement, and sign language are incorporated into his comedy and stories, with all ages rollicking along in his wildly imaginative worlds of creativity and fun.
Gillman started performing in Maine 30 years ago, with roots in cabaret. He has since made a name for himself in the storytelling world and has been featured at storytelling festivals across the country, including the national festival three times. He will be returning to the International Storytelling Center in Tennessee as Teller-in-Residence this May. Locally, he is known for portraying Kipling-in-Residence at the author’s historic Brattleboro home semiannually since 2000. He also presents his Springboards for Stories workshop there every year.
