MARLBORO– The Music for a Sunday Afternoon Series at Marlboro College continues with a free, open to the public concert by Diana Fanning at 3 pm on February 28 in Ragle Hall.
Fanning’s recital will consist of Beethoven’s “Sonata in F-Sharp Major, Op. 78;” Robert Schumann’s “Papillons, Op. 2;” “Two Images” by Claude Debussy and “Sonata in C Minor, D. 958” by Franz Schubert.
Fanning currently teaches piano at Middlebury College. She has toured extensively as a recitalist and chamber musician throughout the eastern United States and Europe, including England, France, Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. She is a a regular performer on Vermont Public Radio and her work has been featured by Vermont Public Television, WGBH-FM in Boston, and WNYC in New York City.
